actually sums up the entire journey of Breaking Bad. Walter White, who is a chemistry teacher, fins out about his cancer disease . So, before dying ( or falling as per lyrics we say) he wants to make enough money on which his family could sustain. Finally, he discovers the business which could earn him big. However more than money, this work gave him a reason to truly feel happy, a reason to leave a legacy, a reason to build an empire of his own.
Ultimately, we can say that before falling ... he took his ride.
